Well, it is getting close to my favorite time of year.
If you cannot tell from the photo, fall is the season that I love the most.
I enjoy the weather - where it is just cool enough that you need to wear jeans and maybe a scraf but you do not need a bulky coat. You can still dine outside without being miserable.
And lets not forget all the tasty fall treats - pumpkin everything! Last year I had a pumpkin donut for the first time and it was fabulous!
And then there is my fave holiday of all - Halloween. That means taking time out to decorate the home in a ghoulish manner and putting up all those creep fake spider webs.
Then there are the costumes! You can look at speciality sites online like http://www.womenshalloweencostumesdepot.com or you can to go more general stores like Party City. Or - be really inventive and unique and make your own! My mom actually made me a few interesting costume when I was growing up.
Fall also has some really great smells and sights. You can often smell of those first fires heating up the homes. And then there are all those colors of the leaves as they turn from reds to golds to browns. It truly cannot be beat.
